Testimonials
Dear Greta,
I can’t thank you enough for all you did for me and helping with the house. You went above and beyond what I ever expected. You were always available and helpful with the 100 plus questions I had and many trips to the model. I felt you were with me every step of the way!
Many, many thanks –
Jeanne
We’ve been in our home for about 3 weeks now, and loving it! I wanted to take a moment to say “Thank You” for everything you did for us. You made it so easy and stress free. From the very first day it was such an easy process. You were so helpful, answered all our questions, helped us understand the process as it was our first time buying a brand new home. We are so happy and we couldn’t have done it without you!!
Thank you. You have been outstanding!
Thanks for all your help in helping us with our home. You made everything so easy! You ROCK!
Thank you so much for all your effort, I really appreciate it. You've been awesome.
Thank you so much! You've been amazing throughout this whole process! the kids are getting excited and so am I!
I would like to take a moment and reflect on my first home buying experience with Greta at Silverado Homes. I would like to thank you for your time, patience and willingness to "hold my hand" throughout this process. Working with you and the mortgage lender while working in the Arctic had its own set of challenges, yet you made it seamless.
I also wish to give Brian a very sincere thank you for his time, and patience in assisting me in addressing the very few opportunities for repair/adjustments that my new home had required. You both have invested in my complete satisfaction throughout the process. I am continuing my personalization process in creating my home, yet every time I see you and Brian, it is always with a smile, and a genuine and sincere concern for any issues that may have come up.
The over all quality of the home is as advertised, the service and support after closing is immeasurable.
I wanted to let you and Brian know just how welcome and at ease you two have made the process for me.
Thank you both so very much for the positive experience!
If you are trying to spoil us with your personal services, you are doing a great job. You hung decorations on our outside walls, hung a custom made pot hanger in the kitchen and performed a number of service niceties. All of this service is greatly appreciated so all we can say is - thank you, thank you, thank you!
The Bihlers, Harry and Jane, found their new Silverado home in Eskaton Village Roseville just a mile from their old house in Sun City Roseville. Jane credits a length hospital stay a year ago for inspiring a search for the best place to be in an emergency.
Visiting senior communities around the Bay Area turned up nothing to compare with Eskaton Village Roseville, not event counting proximity to doctors and sophisticated shopping and dining.
Watching their house being built from the ground up was fun and first for this couple of the Southern California transplants. When the builder thoughtfully suggested relocating appliances in the laundry room to create space for their little brown cat's furniture, they knew everything would turn out okay. And they report "close to perfect!"
Harry is a golfer and tennis player; Jane is a reader. It may seem whimsical now, Jane says with a laugh, bu the idea of exploring country roads lured them from the beach a dozen years ago. Harry is a more reluctant traveler, but Jane has plotted dozens of odysseys shared with friends around the world, most recently digging out warm coats and mittens for a Christmas Markets Cruise on the Danube. They remark that their gated community will contribute to peace of mind when they leave home.
Harry is heading up International Harvester's heavy equipment operations in Los Angeles and Jane, an industrial editor, was a newly minted claims adjuster in State Farm Insurance's Southern California office when they met on an Orange County golf course. With teenagers at home- Jane in Newport Beach, Harry in Brea - dating entailed long freeway commutes. A summer wedding in the little church on Balboa Island blended the two families. Forty -three years later they find much to celebrate with new friends and neighbors in their unique community. Their children, a couple of hours distant on a Peninsula, celebrate Harry's and Jane's delights in their "perfect-for0us" Silverado home and the knowledge that help will be at hand when the need arises.
"We began making plans to move to Eskaton Village Roseville in August 2010 after our daughter did the ground work for us. Since then, thanks to Cindy, Paul, Michael, John and the rest of the staff, we have had clear sailing. They have been so helpful, making suggestions, steering us in the right directions, and generally going out of their way to make put transition easy. At any time they were available to answer questions or give advice.
The community itself has been a delight. Before the last box was out of the garage, we had met the nicest people. We really feel quite at home here and are looking forward to other activities.
Jose and Barbara carefully looked over the area's home offerings, finally settling on the Eskaton Village for its smaller size, offering a try sense of community, and its range of services. Jose said "We saw some nice homes - but we decided on a smaller home we could live in the rest of our lives, with services that could come into play as we age and need them; no other location offered that, and we really didn't want to move twice at our age."
Jose was in the Air Force and Barbara working for the Department of Defense schools when they met on a tour bus in Japan - and since then they have travelled all seven continents together. Jose has had a career as a management and training consultant and Barbara retires after teaching primary grades for 38 years. They lived in the Sacramento area 42 years prior to coming to Roseville. "We love the amenities of Roseville, and everything is within a short distance." says Barbara, "and I'm happy to relinquish the outside maintenance to others. On occasion, we may even take a break from cooking and eat a meal delivered in from the Lodge."
Jose and Barbara just returned from a trip to Turkey and Greece, will spend Thanksgiving in Hawaii and start 2011 with a trip to the Philippines, as they are both active Master Scuba Divers. Jose shares "We still love to travel, and love the security of our gates community - especially the peace of mind when we go away - as well as the great walking opportunities here, as we and our dogs start the day walking four miles."
You'll find Jose actively volunteering in his new community, and Barbara is devotee of the water aerobics program. Both use the high-tech gym to keep fit, and love the community closeness and friends they have made since moving in. In 18 months, they have truly dived into the Eskaton Village life.
After 50 years of marriage, and purchases of 5 houses, we are buying our first brand new home at Silverado. Both Nina and Cindy have been so patient with all of our questions. That makes this whole process easier. They are the face of Silverado, and obviously chosen for people skills as well as knowledge. But Building Superintendent Jeff Minasian is equally pleasant and helpful. He also has been patient with all of our questions, kept in contact whenever there has been a concern, and has gone out of his way to make sure we are all on the same page with our few tiny modifications of the floor plan. We are very grateful for the way we have been treated by all three of those employees and just wanted to express our appreciation officially.
